A Brief History:
Kindergoth was created in 1997 by Lee Kohse and started as an underground comic made on a Xerox machine and a crappy sketch that was used on some shirts. In 2002-2004 BloodFire Studios released the Kindergoth comic books with Jeff Zugale drawing it and Lee Kohse writing. Kindergoth became a huge hit among underground comics, with orders exceeding those of some major companies. Kindergoth was in the top 100 sales for non Marvel DC books and held a spot in the top 300 comic sales list. In 2004 Lee Kohse was forced to stop working on Kindergoth so he could defend his trademark against infringement.

Now with the trademark secured we need your help!! Lee has several Kindergoth stories in the works but has spent so much time doing work for others to pay the legal fees for defending his trademarks that he has had no time to draw the new comics. At the urging of a few fans we have started the Kindergoth Legal Defense fund through PayPal. Just click the button below to help keep Kindergoth going. All donations over $20 will receive a one of a kind sketch card (and you can ask for what you want on the card) large donations ($50 or more) will get original art. Make sure you leave your name and address to receive your sketch cards.

Some News:
Links on the right lead to stuff related to Kindergoth. you can buy new shirts from SighCo, most of the Kindergoth back issues are still available through BloodFire Studios and until we can get this site running, Comic Space will be where most of our news is posted.

The Donations are really helping. Lee still has about 30,000 to pay off for the defense of Kindergoth. I'll keep updating here so people know how much is left.

- Thanks
