September 07, 2008 - Crash of the Lich King part 1

My friends and I have been playing the Wrath of the Lich King Beta for World of Warcraft. I must say that other than the issues listed in the comic, it is indeed very sweet! Death Knigths kick ass! I am going bring in a friend to help me get more content on the site. We will be adding pages, fixing the archive (that does not at the moment work) and we are going to work on getting more comic updates. Stay tuned!

August 24, 2008 - FIRE BAD!
Between getting very sick and trying to catch up on work I ran a bit behind on comics. My buddy Jason helped out with the site again so I will try to get those new pages up this week.

August 03, 2008 - 411 is a Joke
I just did some great sketches for another Indiana Jones project and I am supposed to start on a new Star Wars related project soon. So Lucasfilm has been keeping me pretty busy. I am also working on some new pages for this site so keep checking back for more stuff soon.

July 20, 2008 - Call of Cthulu
More fun with Vader. I just love the idea of Vader not being able to use a phone because everyone things he's a heavy breathing perv.

July 13, 2008 - Wrong Number
I just spent the last 6 months doing art for Lucasfilm. Indiana Jones and Clone Wars stuff. As a fan of Star Wars it was a dream come true pretty much.

The History of Kindergoth:
Kindergoth was originally created in 1991 by Lee Kohse (me) for my highschool news paper, the Spartan Spectrum. At the time it was called "Joe Freshman" but then later changed to "Freddy Freshman" (after I killed off Joe in a horrific aluminium can recycling accident). Over the years the characters changed and became younger and a bit more defined and name "Freddy Freshman" was no longer representative of the characters. In 1997 I adopted the name Kindergoth and began work on an underground comic that was made on a Xerox machine and a crappy sketch that was used on some shirts. I offered the book to a indy publisher I was working with at the time but after it was rejected I co-founded BloodFIre Studios with my friend Dennis Greenhill.

In 2002-2004 BloodFire Studios released the Kindergoth comic books with Jeff Zugale drawing it and Lee Kohse writing. Kindergoth became a huge hit among independant comics, with orders exceeding those of some major companies. Kindergoth was in the top 100 sales for non Marvel DC books and held a spot in the top 300 comic sales list. In 2004 I was forced to stop working on Kindergoth so he could defend my trademark against infringement. From 2004-2008 sporatic new Kindergoth art would appear on lunch boxes, tshirts, etc. The better art was often inked by my buddy Joel Adams

Now with the trademark secured, I am writing new Kindergoth comic books to be drawn by other artists and I will be writing and drawing the Kindergoth web comic!! Sit back, laugh, enjoy.
